Rakuten Travel is running the “September Limited 1000 Point Reduction Campaign for Hometown Travel” until 11:59 p.m. on September 30. Eligible stays are from check-in on September 1 to check-out on December 31.
During the period, if you make a reservation at an eligible facility using the Furusato Tax Coupon and actually stay at the facility after making an entry in advance, you will receive 1,000 Rakuten points in addition to the regular points (1%). Terms and conditions for use of the coupon are as follows: Domestic stay of 8,000 yen or more per reservation and 2 persons or more.
The campaign also applies to those who have already made a reservation at an eligible facility, make a hometown tax donation later, and then reapply the coupon from the reservation details page. The coupon will be applied until 23:59 on December 29.
In accordance with the enforcement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications’ Notification revised in June 2024, Furusato tax payments will no longer be eligible for points from October 1, 2024.
