JTB is now accepting reservations for the “Osaka-Kansai Expo Air Cruise. The cruise will take place on August 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with participation fees starting at 40,000 yen per person (based on four people, without Expo admission tickets).
This is a helicopter ride that allows visitors to enjoy a “flight with a panoramic view of the Expo,” envisioning a future society in which commercial flights of flying cars are realized. The project is part of the “Osaka Prefecture Flying Vehicle Tourism Attractiveness Promotion Research Project.
The trip takes approximately 20 minutes, with a scenic tour time of 5 to 7 minutes. Departure and arrival points are at the Mobility Experience “Expo Vertiport” at the Expo site. Helicopter tours are chartered and each flight can accommodate one to four passengers (up to 25 scenic flights are planned).
