Wataya Villa (738 Shimoyado Otsu, Ureshino-cho, Ureshino-shi, Saga Prefecture) has newly established a concept room, “Penguin Room Ureshino,” and began accepting reservations on June 10. Lodging will be available from July 7. An event will be held on the day before the opening.
Celebrating the first anniversary of the opening of the facility’s “Penguin Museum” by illustrator Kichiharu Sakazaki, the guest rooms are located on the wooden hot spring resort floor. The rooms are lined with Sakazaki’s personal books, including out-of-print books, mural art, and exhibits.
