JR Tokai Shoji will release “Tokaido Shinkansen x Steiff Collaboration Luggage Tags” on June 6, 2012, available at “BLUE LINES EX” on the “JR Tokai MARKET” e-commerce site, priced at 19,800 yen.
The product is a collaboration between the German plush toy brand Steiff and the Tokaido Shinkansen, and was created from the idea of a person in charge who once worked as a purser for the Shinkansen. The tag with the teddy bear is attached to the moquette fabric used for the seats of the Green Car, and the back of the tag is designed with the Steiff logo and the front of the N700S as stitching.
