JR West Japan has announced details of the Kinan Course of the “WEST EXPRESS Ginga” express train that will run from August 25 to October 29.

It will operate between Kyoto Station and Shingu Station via Osaka Station, Tennoji Station, and Wakayama Station. In principle, there will be two round trips per week: an overnight service to Shingu on Mondays and Fridays (based on the first station) and a daytime service to Kyoto on Wednesdays and Sundays. The night service stops at Wakayama Station for 48 minutes, where passengers can enjoy Wakayama ramen noodles for an additional fee.

Starting with this service, some seats on daytime flights will be pre-sold as travel products that include overnight accommodations in the Kinan area. Details will be announced in the future.
