The Air Self-Defense Force Miho Air Base (2258 Kosinotsu-cho, Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture) has announced the cancellation of the 2025 Miho Air Base Air Festival, which was scheduled to be held on May 25.
Various events were initially planned for the Air Festival, including a display flight of the Blue Impulse, a hands-on boarding of a new fire truck, and a photo contest, but no mention was made of any postponement of the event.
An accident occurred at the base on May 15, in which a member of the team was killed while performing maintenance work.
