Hanshin Expressway forecasts traffic congestion for GW 2025. Traffic peaks on the 3rd in the direction of Himeji and on the 5th in the direction of Osaka.

Hanshin Expressway has announced traffic congestion forecasts for the Golden Week period (April 26-May 6).

The peak forecast is May 3 for Himeji direction (westbound) and May 5 for Osaka direction (eastbound), with traffic congestion of up to 33 km near Tarumi JCT to Nishinomiya IC on the No. 5 Wangan Line (Tarumi Line) and up to 18 km near Uozaki and the Dainishinmei Road connection.

In the Hyogo area, in addition to the No. 3 Kobe Route and No. 7 Kita-Kobe Route of the Hanshin Expressway, the Chugoku Expressway (E2A) and the Shin-Meishin Expressway (E1A) are also included in the route selection process, and drivers are encouraged to check the latest road traffic information and routes with less congestion.
