The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Grant Agreement (G/A) with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) on February 27 in Yerevan, the capital of the Republic of Armenia, for the “Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Program for Displaced Persons and Host Communities in Nagorno-Karabakh (UNICEF Partnership)”. (Grant Agreement: G/A) for “Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Program for Displaced Persons and Host Communities in Nagorno-Karabakh (in collaboration with UNICEF).

Business Objectives
This project aims to reduce the psychological stress of children and help them return to a peaceful life by providing facilities and equipment for psychological care, strengthening the capacity of psychological care providers, and conducting awareness-raising activities in cooperation with UNICEF for children from Nagorno-Karabakh and host communities. The project aims to contribute to the promotion of human security for the socially vulnerable by providing psychological care for children in host communities.

500 million yen
