Tokyo Monorail will end sales of the “Monorail Suica” transportation IC card on March 14, and will launch a new no-name “Suica” card from the first train on March 15.
It will have the same design as those sold by JR East and will have the same release date and time as the “Suica commuting pass” and name-registered “Suica” cards.
The sale of name-registered and bearer-type “Monorail Suica” cards will not be resumed. Current “Monorail Suica commuter pass” and “Monorail Suica” cards can continue to be used.
