Kansai Airport Kobe will introduce a domestic passenger service facility charge (PSFC) at the Kobe Airport Terminal 1 building on May 1.
Fees are 300 yen for adults and 150 yen for children upon departure and arrival; infants under 3 years old are free of charge, but are treated as children when using airline tickets; applicable to those who issued tickets on or after May 1; collection method is on-ticket, which is paid at the time of ticket purchase.
PSFC will use the funds to provide services such as departure and arrival lobbies, and to improve and maintain various facilities.
