On March 28, Okinawa Urban Monorail will begin offering boarding services at all Yui Rail stations using touch-sensitive cards (credit, debit, and prepaid cards) and smartphones equipped with such cards.
In addition to the existing QR code reader and IC card touch screen, the ticket gate will be equipped with a non-contact reader that supports touch payment, enabling passengers to pay by credit card or other means by touch.
Accepted brands are Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, and UnionPay.
