Marufuku Textile has pre-launched its ShaBō shielding hat series “Ultra Light Hat” in size LL, which offers both heat shielding and ventilation, at its official online store. The price is 3960 yen.
The Ultra Light Hat is a rebranded heat protection hat for agriculture that is easy to use in daily life and outdoor activities. It features a heat-shielding function that keeps the temperature inside the hat 10°C cooler under the blazing sun thanks to the company’s proprietary “Aluminum Cooltech” technology, and is lightweight at 75g for the medium size, 78g for the large size, and 83g for the large size. The product has been sold out every time it is re-released, and a total of more than 10,000 units have been sold to date.
In response to requests for a more spacious size, the first LL size is now available in the lineup. As with the M/L sizes, three colors are available: beige, black, and khaki green.
In addition to being light and refreshing to wear for extended periods of time without placing a burden on the head, it is also highly water-repellent for outdoor use. It also has a drawcord to prevent the wind from blowing it away, and the brim is soft so it can be rolled up into a small package for carrying. It is also hand washable.
