On January 28, Royal Holdings announced the establishment of Royal Minor Hotels, a joint venture with MHG INTERNATIONAL HOLDING. Each company will hold a 50% stake in the joint venture, which is scheduled to be established in March.
MHG INTERNATIONAL HOLDING is a wholly owned subsidiary of Minor Hotels. Minor Hotels operates more than 560 luxury hotels and resort brand residences in 58 countries worldwide.
The company plans to develop three hotel brands, Anantara, Avani, and Tivoli, in Japan.
Each brand is a member of the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), an independent hotel brand alliance, and will attract customers by utilizing the GHA DISCOVERY Loyalty Program, which boasts approximately 30 million members.
Royal Holdings (RNT Hotels) operates Richmond Hotels throughout Japan as its hotel business.
