MOL Sunflower launched its first LNG-fueled ferry, Sunflower Kamui, on the Oarai-Tomakomai route on January 21. It will replace the existing Sunflower Daisetsu.
Kamui has more space for loading cargo vehicles than existing vessels, and all cabins are private rooms. It is said to provide a comfortable space for truck drivers.
Other features include a fitness room, kids’ space, promenade, observation bath, sauna, and a new with-pet room for boarding with pets.
