Randen’s new “KYOTRAM” train to begin commercial operation on February 28

Keifuku Electric Railway will begin commercial operation of the new Randen train “KYOTRAM” on February 28. The company has announced a temporary timetable for the first day of operation.

The temporary schedule will include a round-trip between Shijo-Omiya and Arashiyama, departing from Shijo-Omiya at 15:58 on the outbound route and from Arashiyama at 16:28 on the return route. After the first day, the Arashiyama Main Line (between Shijo Omiya and Arashiyama) and the Kitano Line (between Kitano Shiraume-cho and Katabinotsuji) will be incorporated into the regular schedule.
