Oedo Onsen Monogatari Hotels & Resorts will renovate the Takasenkaku Iwamatsu Ryokan in Sakunami Onsen, Sendai, and reopen the Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Sendai Sakunami (16 Motoki Sakunami, Aoba-ku, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture) in April.

This will be the fifth hot spring hotel in the Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group in Miyagi Prefecture, following TAOYA Akiu, Premium Hotel Sokan, Kounkaku, and Masuya.

Sakunami Onsen has long been called the “back seat of Sendai,” and is also known as the “hot spring for making beautiful women” because of its gentle spring water and abundant hot water.

Takasenkaku Iwamatsu Ryokan, which houses the six-story Hirose Kan and the seven-story Aoba Kan, has been temporarily closed since January 6 for this renovation.
