The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will tentatively open approximately 1.0 km of urban planning road Trunk Route Radiation No. 7 from Nishi-Oizumi 2-chome to Nishi-Oizumi 5-chome in Nerima Ward to traffic from 3 pm on February 16.

Radiation Line No. 7 runs for about 2 km from Oizumigakuen-cho 2-chome (Kitazono intersection) to Nishi Oizumi 5-chome in Nerima-ku, Tokyo, and is 25 m wide. The western section of the line will be opened, with the eastern end at about the halfway point of the project section and the western end at the intersection of Fukuzenji Street that runs north from Hoya Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line and the Nerima Tokorozawa Line (Metropolitan Road No. 24).

This traffic opening is expected to reduce congestion on “Shitamichi-dori” which runs immediately to the south.
