Oigawa Railway, Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture, has launched an “unprecedentedly high-priced” commemorative product in anticipation of its 100th anniversary on March 10.

The lineup includes a fully made-to-order 1,000,000 yen ticket made of pure gold, a 100th anniversary commemorative coin with a design of the C121 steam locomotive and the Shin-Kanaya station building, a classic wristwatch and diver’s watch with the company crest, rail, and station name on the dial and bezel, and Daitetsu’s first business card that allows users to design their name and organization on the surface of boarding tickets. All of these products are available for order exclusively through the Oigawa Railway online store.

In addition, the “100th Anniversary Commemorative Tour: Bura-tori Gasshuku (Bura-tori Gasshuku version) with President Torizuka” (a.k.a. “Bura-tori Gasshuku version”) is scheduled for February 1 and 2. Details will be announced later on the official website.
