Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. completes delivery of 12 Nippori-Toneri Liner Type 330 trains. Encouraging the alleviation of congestion along the rail line.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. has completed delivery of 12 trains (60 cars) of the Nippori-Toneri Liner’s Type 330 cars.

The order was received from the Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Bureau in April 2020, and with this delivery, a total of 15 trains (75 cars) of the 330 class cars were delivered.The 330 class cars were also delivered in FY2015 and FY2019, and the number of passengers has been increased through the use of long seats and aluminum structures.

The Nippori-Toneri Liner is a new transit system connecting Nippori Station and Minumashiro Shinsui Koen Station (approximately 10 km). With the delivery of the 330 class train cars, the company expects to contribute to the alleviation of congestion on the line and further revitalization of the areas along the line.
