On January 9, Shogakukan released the February 2025 issue of BE-PAL with a “Montabear” Blanket, a special supplement to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Montbell’s founding. The price is 1,350 yen.
It comes in two colors, brown and navy, with one of the colors included at random. It measures 90 x 60 cm and can be used as a shoulder strap by fastening the snap buttons; two pieces can be connected together to make a larger poncho.
The major feature is “Let’s play in the snow! Let’s All Play in the Snow! It introduces wakasagi fishing on ice, camping in the snow, kamakura making, and the latest snow play gear.
