Amazon (Amazon Japan) is having a time sale on Iwatani’s FORE WINDS Outdoor Heater. Normally priced at 11,637 yen, it is 42% off at 6,790 yen at the time of writing.
It runs on cassette gas (sold separately) and requires no batteries or power cord. The combination of a spherical burner and reflector can heat a wide area in front of the unit, and the angle can be adjusted in two levels, making it suitable for camping, fishing, DIY, sketching, simple heating in emergencies, and all other outdoor activities.
In addition, since the cassette cylinder is directly connected to the container without being covered by a container cover, it can be stored compactly and has a handle for easy carrying.
It is equipped with a “valve with regulator” that can be carried with a stable flame while in use and a “power booster” function that maintains the cylinder at a constant temperature, allowing the user to use up gas to the end without losing heat even in cooler temperatures.
