International Emergency Relief for Earthquake in Port Vila, Vanuatu -Delivery of Donated Goods- | News/Public Relations

Emergency relief supplies provided by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for earthquake damage in Port Vila, Vanuatu, have been delivered to the country.

Emergency relief supplies for the Republic of Vanuatu arrived in Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu, on January 3. The ceremony was held at Port Vila Bauerfield Airport at 3:00 p.m. (local time) on the same day, attended by Deputy Prime Minister Josan Napat and Deputy Secretary Abraham Nasak of the Ministry of Climate Change Adaptation, Meteorology, Geological Hazards, Energy, Environment and Disaster Management from the Vanuatu side and Ambassador Naohisa Okuda, Japanese Ambassador to Vanuatu, Mitsutaka Uchijima, JICA The ceremony was attended by Mr. Naohisa Okuda, Ambassador of Japan to Vanuatu, Mr. Mitsutaka Uchijima, Director of the Vanuatu Branch of JICA, and others.

The relief supplies provided this time will be delivered to the victims by the government of the country.
