Every New Year’s there is news of celebrities going to Hawaii. Of course, many ordinary people also visit Hawaii, which is a safe, warm, and relaxing paradise.
The city is crowded with tourists after Corona, and the high prices are often eye-popping when coming from Japan. When I visited, prices were not that high, but I often bought groceries at supermarkets or went to restaurants in back alleys where one-plate meals were inexpensive and very tasty.
Waikiki Beach is crowded, but if you go around sunrise, it is cooler and less crowded, and you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time with bird feeders, fishermen, couples and families taking a walk.
Sightseeing can be done by taking a tour or renting a car to visit beautiful beaches with few people. Helicopter or Cessna scenic flights can take you from the east coast to the interior in a single loop. Boat tours offer a wide variety of activities, from whale watching to sailing, snorkeling, and diving.
There are eight major islands in the state of Hawaii. I would like to visit these islands and Kilauea Volcano someday.
