JR Tokai Retailing Plus and JR West Trading will release a jointly developed product, “Choro-Q: Thank you Doctor Yellow (T4 and T5)” on December 27. The price is 1,815 yen.
Doctor Yellow, the doctor of the Shinkansen, inspects the electrical and track equipment of the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen while running on the line, with JR Tokai’s T4 train scheduled for retirement in January 2025 and JR West’s T5 train scheduled for retirement in 2027.
The special package is designed to give purchasers a memorable experience and a “thank you” for the Doctor Yellow’s past activities. The size of the package is approximately 60 x 30 x 30 mm, and sales outlets are as follows.
