IHG-ANA Hotels Group Japan signed a management contract with BHR Okinawa Management, a subsidiary of Berjaya Land, on December 16. The company will promote the re-launch of the “ANA Crowne Plaza” brand in Okinawa.
Ansa Okinawa Resort (1468 Ishikawa Yamashiro, Uruma City, Okinawa Prefecture), a 45-minute drive from Naha Airport, will be rebranded and renovated to open in early 2025 as ANA Crowne Plaza Resort Okinawa Uruma Hills.
There are a total of 123 guest rooms. Ancillary facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, gym, karaoke room, restaurant, bar, conference room, banquet hall, and parking lot.
This is the third IHG hotel in Okinawa, following the ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Resort and the ANA InterContinental Ishigaki Resort. This is also the first joint project between IHG and Berjaya Corporation in Japan.
