APA HOTEL to build its second building in the city in front of Tsuruoka Station, Yamagata Prefecture. Newly built with 300 rooms in a 5-minute walking distance from the station.

On December 11, APA Group announced plans to open “APA Hotel Yamagata Tsuruoka Ekimae Nishi”.

The plan is for a seven-story, 300-room building located a five-minute walk from Tsuruoka Station on the JR Hanetsu Main Line. The decision was made in response to the high level of occupancy at APA Hotel , which opened in August 2016.

The opening is scheduled for the summer of 2026.

Meanwhile, the 56-room APA Hotel Yamagata Ekimae Odori will be sold and its operation as an APA Hotel will be terminated when the new hotel begins operations.
