Walt Disney Japan will release a new collection “NEW YEAR BAYMAX 2025” on December 6, combining Baymax and New Year’s.
The items are based on the motif of New Year’s good luck charms such as Kagamimochi (mirror-shaped rice cakes) and a white Daruma doll, and are full of the healing and kindness that is typical of Baymax.
The new items feature Baymax’s pure white body with gold, red, and other colors added for a festive atmosphere. The wide assortment includes New Year’s decorations, tableware such as bean plates, and secret drawstrings. Prices include a Kagamimochi-style plush toy for 4,400 yen, a Daruma doll for 3,000 yen, and a shimekidashi for 2,800 yen.
